After using the rest of their apps, I’ll take a guess that this is the next one getting a new UI. From the release notes, version 2.0 will be three years old this July.

Not exactly sure about this.

I don’t have access to the official sales stats but I get the general impression that OmniPlan (for OS X) is one of the least profitable apps, since it’s relegated to a particular niche – project planning; gantt, as opposed to OmniFocus (2) which is extensible for both beginners and power users.

I’m merely guessing since OmniPlan’s design is not up to speed with the other three apps being three years old. With the release of OF2, it’s now the oldest of the four.
