I have never been able to figure out how to add applescripts to the tool bar. When I place within ~/Library/Application Scripts/com.omnigroup.omnifocus2 and then drag the icon to the bar, I get an error message that tells me I don’t have permissions. If I drag the script into the Omnifocus Scripts folders I can run the script from the menu bar-still works but I’m at a loss as to why some seem to be able to run via the OF toolbar.

You are right clicking the toolbar in OF, selecting “Customize Toolbar”, and then dragging the icon from the subsequent window?
