I often use links to files (file:///Users/name/Documents/myfile.md) or folders (file:///Users/name/Documents/MyFolder) within the note of OmniFocus task in order to quickly accessed the document(s) related to a task.
I’ve noticed that those links don’t behave in the same way as they do when lauched (clicked on) from other applications.
When launched from Typora (or the Notes app), the link to a file will open the file and the link to a folder will open a Finder window to that folder (we see the content of the folder).
When launched from Typora (or the Notes app), the link to a file will reveal the file in the Finder and the link to a folder will open a Finder window to the containing folder.
So I have two questions :
How is it possible ? I thought a link was a call to Apple Events and there would be no influence of the app from which the link is used.
How to change the link behaviour in OmniFocus so that it actually opens the file or the folder rather than just reveal them.
