Omnifocus includes a preference for cleaning up changed items immediately or after switching perspectives. By setting Omnifocus to clean up only after changing perspectives (or pressing command K), I can in the inbox at least look at what I’ve edited before it disappears. Is this supposed to work outside the inbox as well? I have a stalled items perspective which is currently almost unusable. If I start to add a task basically the project disappears before I can type anything into the task and now has a blank task. So I end up having to use the perspective in one window and open my projects in a different window to edit.
