I’ve noticed this problem for years with OF. If you copy some tasks, move to a new/empty project and paste, it’ll paste the tasks as individual projects rather than tasks within the empty project. The workaround is to first to make a single task in the new project, select it, paste, and it’ll paste them as tasks within that project; you then delete the extra task you made for the copy/paste operation.
Is there a simpler way to copy/paste tasks to another project?
