Custom columns?

Is it possible to create custom, free text columns. I’d like one for example to add in the Task IDs that my project team members are creating. These are arbitrary text and are just used for reference. They don’t belong in notes / comments.

Would like to incorporate RACI formatting into the column view on each task. Btw, this can be done with an import of a CSV by adding extra columns. But it’s a PITA.

Actually, just found where to add custom columns. Open the Task window, tap the + button and type in the name of the column where you want to add custom data. Not intuitive, but it’s there.
