Dragging an Mail email to Omnifocus as a live link

I used to drag (from Mail) and email message into an Omnifocus project, and it would be a live link. For some reason this no longer works. Any suggestions. Thanks. Ray T.

Hi,

I’m really sorry about the trouble you are experiencing. I can reproduce this problem in house and it has been reported.

Until the issue can be resolved, here’s an alternative to try that works for me:

  1. Create a new action item inside your project.
  2. Drag the mail into the notes area of the new tasks/action item instead of directly under a project. You can do this by expanding the note in the outline view, or dragging to the notes area in the Inspector.

Thank you. I will give this a try. I rely on Omnifocus so much, that when something does not work quite right, I’m on a mission to find out why and seek an alterntive. Thanks again.
