Often I group my projects and next action lists by Areas of Focus as follows:
WORK Folder:
- Lists Folder
- Projects Folder
- Someday/Maybe Folder
PERSONAL Folder:
- Lists Folder
- Projects Folder
- Someday/Maybe Folder
FINANCE Folder:
- Lists Folder
- Projects Folder
- Someday/Maybe Folder
etc…
It would be very useful to have some kind of graph that shows:
- Where I focus my efforts on a weekly, monthly, and yearly basis. This would allow me to recognize areas of neglect and focus on those.
- Being able to configure the graph view and frequency.
- Being able to include and exclude which folders and projects to display.
- Create snapshots or export the graph to view and compare progress over time.
- Being able to navigate to specific projects or folders from the graph.
Basically to answer questions: How good is my focus? What do I focus on the most? What do I focus on the least?
