I regularly use URL Schemes within my outlines. And then sometimes I want to globally find-replace to change the text throughout the document so that all of my links will do something different.
Here’s where this gets weird. If I paste a link into OO on iPad I can continue editing the text of the link right within the document and it will change the underlying link. If I do the same thing on Mac OS, it automatically distinguishes the link title from the underlying URL, meaning that find-replace will not actually change the link destination and my idea doesn’t work. Furthermore, an outline that I created on iPad and later move to Mac will start working the Mac OS way, even if I bring it back to iPad.
So… any way that I can keep links functioning so that changing the text within the document actually changes the underlying link (destination) and not just the link title?
