Help with Notifications (Available, Due Soon)

I’m having one problem and I would like to ask you how can I solve it.
I’m using notifications and I’m receiving 2 notifications at the same time for the same action. One for Available and another one for Due Soon.

The scenario is as follows:
I have one activity deferred for example for today at 08:00.

When it’s 08:00 the system shows me two notifications, one For Available and the other for Due soon.
How can I set up the system in order to show only one notification at 08:00? I don’t care if it’s for Available or for Due Soon, but it’s a little bit annoying to see two notifications for the same event.

Hi, I have exactly the same issue. I use alerts to make sure I won’t lose any notification when I receive, but since I can’t specify, the “available” notification ends up being sticky too, which is frustrating.
The one way I see this being solved is being able to tick a box to receive alerts of now available items.
