Hide sub projects in perspectives and forecast

I have a created a template for a lot of the events that we do. In each event, we have several actions that fall in different sub-projects for an event. For example:

EVENT NAME

  • ADMIN ACTIONS FOR EVENT
    • tasks
  • EVENT MEDIA PRODUCTION
    • VIDEO PRODUCTION
      • video production tasks
    • GRAPHIC PRODUCTION
      • graphic production tasks
    • PRINT PRODUCTION
      • print production tasks

When viewing the actions in a perspective, I don’t want to see the subproject names - just the list of actual items. Is there a way to hide the subproject names for a perspective, since the subproject isn’t actually an action item?

If your perspective does not use project hierarchy and you’ve unchecked this option in the Preference window:
you should get a view close to what you’re looking for here.

Thanks. Now if only this could apply to the Forecast view! Wish this could also be set for projects with a Project Hierarchy view, but I’ll take what I can get!
