In which case I vote for theme options in OF2, so we can tailor it to our preferred system for getting stuff done.
Omnifocus was born as a GTD system, if it’s no longer supporting that, then I’m no longer a fan.
:(
It’s not that it no longer supports it – it’s just that its scope and its mission has expanded beyond just GTD to a more general-purpose application.
It’s like the Mac – used to be just for graphic designers, print editors and video production. It still does this kind of stuff, but it’s scope has expanded.

those new little flags cowering behind the circle are horrid and nasty. and i’m not a big fan of the check boxes either:
squares, circles, little red flags, and three little dots all in the same place is starting to look really messy. i’m inclined to suggest ‘put a little more white space in there so that things can breathe’ ;) but really, i believe this is all the more argument for user customisation. some OF users are ardent adherents of GTD, others do it in a sort of good-willed but half-hearted way, others have developed their own way of working to suit themselves, completely eschewing david allen’s methods. all i think are valid uses of OF. i’m with boldfish on the first point: theme / styling options (like OO4) - for me even if it’s just standard text styling options for now: bold, italic etc. but i would LOVE colour.
but i can’t support a ‘you must do GTD with omnifocus’ approach.
Hi Kened, there’s an existing thread over here talking about the issues of checkbox location and colour .
