How do ya'all use subtasks?

I’m starting to play with sub-tasks and wondering how ya’all use them?

For example - I have a weekly project I have to do, and there’s a list of things I have to do each week for that project, which is due every Friday at 6:00 PM. I’ve thought of a few ways to handle this:

  1. Create a parallel project with all the tasks, such that they all repeat to defer every Friday morning, with no due date. I have another project of weekly tasks that is due every Friday at 6 that links back to the parallel project

  2. Create a task (Weekly project), and have everything I need to do as subtasks?

I would probably create a weekly recurring project due every Friday the tasks in it will inherit that date

Then create a recurring task in a routine or SAL to visit this project weekdays.

That way it is always on the radar but not cluttering any daily lists
