Is this repeat behavior possible?

I’m trying to create a repeating task with the following behavior, and am not sure how to do it with the three repeat mechanisms of OF2:

  • Due every Friday
  • Deferred til Friday
  • When completed, regardless of what day of the week completed, the next iteration of the task will likewise be both due on, and deferred to, next Friday

Can this be done? Thanks for any help!

Followup question: If I decide to defer one instance of the reminder to Saturday, does the likewise change the deferral date for all future instances of the repeating task?

No, the next action will be still “defer = Friday, due = Friday”
