It simply doesn’t make sense. I have a perspective grouped by due dates and one of the groups is “Within the next week”, but all the tasks inside are due this week. The groups/headings are supposed to give us an overview of how much we have to do when, and this is just misleading.

I agree the terminology doesn’t make sense. "Items due this week’ would make sense for me. I’ve discussed this on this forum before somewhere and also emailed in a request.

Maybe they mean „within a week“ instead of „within next week“. Either way, I agree that would be confusing.
I’ve done the same as well, but apparently they’re not concerned with polish.
Uncalled for, imo.
