It is possible to select text, then have the option to Share (either right to OF, or to a Shortcut that does something with the selected text).
Not bad if you receive lists by email, for example, because you could parse that to OF (like TaskPaper format).

Sure but I actually find shortcuts to be longcuts. The few extra taps you need to do to open the app and then find the shortcut extra. I know it’s seemingly quick. But it’s actaully easier to just forward the email to the Omni server or as you say select the text. In my experience and use case that is.
