Mac OmniFocus 2.0.1 link-opening not working properly - how to fix?

I make heavy use of OmniFocus Links. When I make a link with "Edit->Copy As Link” the link gets created correctly. If I tap on the link on my iPhone it will correctly open OmniFocus for iOS and open the proper task. However, when I click on the same link on my Mac it acts differently. OmniFocus for Mac is opened, but instead of going to the task it goes to the context view.

Am I doing something wrong or is this a bug in Mac OmniFocus 2? How can I fix it?

I had the same problem. The issue (I think) has to do with the hidden (and non-default) setting to hide empty contexts (description here: Empty context titles appearing in perspectives - and how to hide them). When you change it back to showing empty contexts, then links work just like they should. I think it’s a bug, but doesn’t affect most people since it involves a hidden preference.
