Update on the update: step 1 is still being worked on. For step 2, we’ve set up @SupportHumans as a forum account which will automatically send an email to email@example.com when it’s messaged or mentioned in a post.
I won’t claim to have tested it extensively, but I have tested it and it appears to be working in the manner that we’d like it to. :-)
That should provide an easier way to help ‘tag in’ our support team on a post or thread. I’ll cover all this in a more organized manner in the welcome post, but as long as this experiment has good results, we’d like to leave this enabled.
