Multimarkdown export

It’s kind of silly to use markdown on a webforum to beg the developer to support markdown, right? Right? But here goes:

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE. PLEASE.

I’ve tried all kinds of workarounds, including digging up through archived versions of OO that supported an MMD-export plugin as well as moving the plugin to byzantine locations…

~/Library/Containers/com.omnigroup.OmniOutliner4/Data/Library/Application Support/The Omni Group/OmniOutliner/Plug-Ins

…but no dice. MMD export would be such a huge help. Please.

Won’t OO4 install the plugin for you if you just double click on it?

# oo2taskpaper

This is an [OmniOutliner](http://www.omnigroup.com/omnioutliner) plugin that adds a new "TaskPaper (text)" option to the export menu.

## Why?

While I love editing and arranging in OmniOutliner, if I want to email someone else my outline I've found pasting the OO content into an email usually causes catastrophic indenting and layout problems. On the other hand TP seems to get it right every time. Thus a convenient route OO->TP->Mail is pretty useful to me at least.

## Installation

1. Download the [zip](https://github.com/psidnell/oo2taskpaper/archive/master.zip) and open it.
2. Double click on the TaskPaper.ooxsl bundle and OmniOutliner 4 should offer to install it.

## Known Limitations

- Formatting is stripped since there is no representation of this in TaskPaper.
- Only the first column is exported.
- OO entries with children become TP projects, whereas those without become tasks.

Super. It didn’t work before but now it does. Maybe I was doing something wrong, maybe it’s one of those eternal mysteries. Although when I try to export MMD w/ attachments, something crashes: com.apple.appkit.xpc.openAndSavePanelService quit unexpectedly. Oh wellz.

But first things first: thank you!

Though I do hope OG makes M/MD exporting an officially supported function.
