New to Omnifocus

Hello Everyone,

I’m new to Omnifocus! So far, I’m loving it. Does Omnifocus offer any events or conferences to help catch up the newbies on how to become pros? Or do y’all have any resources I can read/watch to learn?

Appreciate any help.

@seanodonYou won’t regret it! there are countless superb tutorials and much advice doled out on these forums. I have resources from David Sparks & others but you can get free material on Youtube such as this; https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Eky69OdwkJE

@seanodon - Great to hear you’re enjoying OmniFocus so far!

You’ll find some free articles, videos and webinar recordings on my Learn OmniFocus website. And there’s a paid membership available if you want access to all of the content. This will also get you into live, interactive webinars.

Kourosh Dini, Joe Buhlig, David Sparks, Sven Fechner and others also have some great OmniFocus content.

And last, but not least, the Omni Group has some great learning content. You’ll find links on the OmniFocus page.

I hope this helps…and great to hear you’re loving OmniFocus so far!

Cheers,
Tim Stringer

If you have a https://www.lynda.com membership, David Sparks has some excellent training videos there, too. I have access through my work, and it was well worth spending a few hours watching those when I was starting out with OmniFocus.

@dfay — These are great as well.

For those of you who don’t already have a Lynda.com membership, I recommend checking to see if you can get access through your local library. I previously paid for Lynda.com, but now get free access through the Vancouver Public Library.
