I’m curious if anyone uses Notes.app as an alternative sync solution for OmniOutliner files. It’s pretty easy to drag an OO file into a Note, and have it sync as an attachment everywhere. Text-only OO files are not much bigger than text notes, so don’t represent a big encumbrance to iCloud accounts.
The main advantage is that if you use both Notes and OO, everything can be in one central place.
One disadvantage is that opening an OO file attached to a note on iOS is clumsy.
Any thoughts? Has anyone tried this?
