I have been using the betas for a while and it appears some of the issues with the Pen tool (and Node Editor) have been greatly improved. It also (so far) appears they may have found at least part of the memory leak issue I have been having. Scrolling speed also appears better, esp if you have placed graphics/images in your drawing.
