OmniFocus on Mac performance issues

Hi,

I’ve had a great experience using OmniFocus thus far, but in recent months been noticing that the OmniFocus on Mac has been getting slower in its responsiveness.

Specific performance issues I’m noticing:

  1. Clicking on the done checkbox for an item results in a lag of up to 4-5 seconds before it disappears.
  2. Switching between perspectives has a lag of up to 6 seconds.

I’ve tried the ‘Rebuild Database…’ option and also ensured any bulky attachments to the items have been deleted.

Any ideas on how I could improve performance? If possible, I’d prefer to avoid the archive option due to this.
