Opening and Closing Clients and Projects

Hello, I’m looking for some advice, to help with a bottleneck in my workflow.

I work as a consultant, and have four active clients right now. These have between 2-6 projects. I am finding that I am losing time when I transition between clients: basically, it takes me too long to re-acclimatise to their projects and needs.

Obviously, alongside client work, I also accommodate the other projects people need to pay attention to: Family, CPD, admin, etc etc.

Does anyone have a practice that allows them to “close” a project in one environment, and “open” a project in a different environment with minimal friction?
