Why am I getting a message from OMNIOUTLINER that "this file cannot be saved because you don’t have permission. How do I fix this?
You can check the folder permissions under Finder. Can also alter them from there.
Thanks for the reply. I tried going to the finder, clicking on GET INFO, and trying to change the permissions to “read & write,” but it wouldn’t allow me to do this.
Hmmm… Would it be possible to place the file in another directory or on the Desktop?
Do you not have admin permissions to change permissions? If I remember correctly, I have to eithter be an Admin or the owner of a folder to grant permissions. I am sure about the first part; not so sure about the second part.
