Preventing tasks with inherited due dates from showing in Forecast

I believe this request is addressed in current TestFlight builds of OmniFocus 4. There’s now a Forecast setting for “Preserve Hierarchy” which makes it so that projects with due dates show their children indented underneath the project heading (in their original hierarchy, with disclosure triangles for easy hiding and showing), rather than listing them separately.

Will such a setting also mean that a Group with four sub-tasks will only show a count of four in its Forecast badge rather than five?

I don’t know whether it is still an open issue, but I have not found an answer. So I have set up a perspective which only shows projects and groups sorted by the due date. I hope it may be of help.
