I have laid out a gallery exhibition and I now want to print the size and location of each object (picture frame) on the Omnigraffle canvas so I can hand it to a contractor. How can do that? Thanks
The easiest way is probably to use the Insert Variable command to place that information directly on the shapes you’ve laid out:
Note that you have to actually edit the text on the shape whose information you want to print. So if you’ve included separate shapes for your frames, make sure you edit the text associated with the correct shape so the contractor has the right info.
If that’s not sufficient, if you have OmniGraffle Pro you could use AppleScript to collect the information you need and output it in a format of your choosing.
