Regarding the Complete and Await Reply script by @rosemaryjayne - is there a way to change this such that the newly created “waiting” task is inserted directly beneath the acted-on task, rather than at the bottom of the project?
As a followup question to my own question, how would I go about adding the current time into the defer date field of the newly created ‘waiting’ task?
I’ve since found an implementations that build on this, and probably solves my needs:

Hi @Splinky, I recommend you update to the recent version 1.0; I’ve cleaned up some details and improved the automatic action naming rules. If you’ve customised the preferences file, remember to make a copy of it for reference before overwriting the plug-in.
