I have a number of projects full of actions. If I search within the Projects perspective, the view is whittled down to just the items containing the search term.
I have a custom perspective wherein I want to see projects with tasks and subtasks. If I set the view to Group and sort: Entire Projects, then when I search, the search is only narrowed down to the project and not the task. If I set Group and sort: to Individual Actions then the search works, but all my actions are flat and I can’t see the hierarchy.
I think I understand why I’m getting this result, but I would expect the search bar to always narrow down the visible tasks.
Is this behaviour as expected? Any way I can see my subtasks in a custom perspective and still be able to search? Thanks!
