Splitting row contents to make 2 rows

In Notemap there was a toggle Between the edit feature and dealing with the “note” as a whole – a note is the same thing as a row in on the outliner. If you hit the F2 key it would go back and forth between the edit function. In order to “split” a note or row you just hit the F2 key to activate the edit function, place the cursor where you want it, and then hit the return key. Voilà – you had 2 notes. I’m unable to do the same thing in on the outliner.

Just hit Control-Return.

Thanks. Interesting that on the Mac extended keyboard “control+ enter” does not work but “control+ return” does.
