Tabbing into search problem

I have a problem.

I usually use the ‘tab’ key to move from action text, to project, to context, to defer date, to due date. This is especially in inbox, when I’m quickly allocating actions out to projects and contexts.

This has usually just worked fine. But lately, after due date, I hit ‘tab’ and the cursor goes to search.

Weird

Anyone else have this problem?

You are in good company! All of us on Sierra have this issue. We’ve reported it to Apple, so hopefully it will be addressed in a future macOS update.

Until then, the up/down arrow key is the workaround. Not a great workaround, but better than having to use the mouse for sure. Sorry for the inconvenience.
