See image. The move function under Organize lets you shift a task within another task, which appears to be its full scope. Why not allow moving it into a different project? Opening the task for editing and then choosing a project requires more steps.
I use OF only on my iPad and iPhone, so I am unsure how this behaves on a Mac. Even so, adding and editing tasks on iOS devices leaves much to be desired. I will create a longer post on that topic later, including examples.
I don’t think the forum is even the place for feedback to the Omni Group (I guess that would be via ‘Contact Omni’ in the Help section of the settings) but I might as well add my two cents that OF, for all that I love and use it (and I use it a lot), still feels like primarily a Mac app, EVEN with the move to a Universal application or whatever the heck it’s called, and doing things on the iPhone or iPad can vary between mildly annoying to downright infuriating. This would be a good example, but there would be many others. I don’t envy you only working on iOS for this. I don’t know what it would take for the iOS apps to feel more ‘streamlined’ and powerful as the Mac version, but right now they seem worlds apart.
