I use deferred dates quite heavily to push things that I want to keep active, but don’t want to work on immediately, into the future. Usually this means setting it to the next Sunday, which is when I do a weekly review. I’ve been using this system for a long time and it works very well for me.
The one drawback is that if I want to see what I have queued up for next week, it’s a little challenging. Is there a way to create a perspective (maybe via automation?) that shows tasks that are either available now or have a specific defer date?
