Is there an option to turn of “Use floating time zone” by default for new tasks? I don’t want it for most tasks, only a few.
I completely agree that I ca n’t use the function “Use floating time zone” for the time being. It is too compulsive to enable new tasks by default. I hope that the default is not to check off, or add a switch in the settings. Arrive!

As a user, I should be able to define if the default for Floating Timezone is True or False.
If you haven’t already, I encourage you to send this feedback to the Omni Group.
The simplest way to do this is to choose Help > Contact Omni (Mac) or Settings > Contact Omni (iPad/iPhone).
