What does "Find" do in OF2?

This might be a silly question, but I can’t figure out the usage of “Find” (⌘F) now. In OF1, “Find” searches through all the text in the current perspective (at least it seemed that way to me). In OF2, however, I can’t use “Find” to search for anything — searching for obviously present strings returns absolutely no result. Of course, the search field (⌥⌘F) provides much better searching experience. So why do we still have the “Find”, and what in the world does it achieve?

It appears to work only on the selected task (if no task is selected, it doesn’t seem to do anything), and it seems to search the content of that task, including any notes.

As opposed to Search, which appears to search the current perspective

I actually can’t get “Find” to do anything for me. Select a project, search for a word (whether or not i know the word is in an action or not) and get an error noise and nothing happens.

You have to select an action - not a project. If you’re selecting a project, you need Search.

I’m not saying that’s how it’s intended to work - only that that’s how it works right now

Thanks @Nick.
