I began work 14 years ago as a photojournalist & commercial photographer. As I moved into less conventional works in photography over the years I kept my methods diverse and purposely so. Constantly breaking my own rules and traditions, I search for the greater and often simpler truths. 4 years ago I broke with my photographic roots out of frustration with the medium, a lack of connecting with the works due to the very nature or recording. Starting from scratch I began building up every conceivable skill involved in painting, etching and even sculpting, working with these various mediums and compositional styles was an aid to searching for meaning within the work.
