A number of bugs I'm experiencing in OO6

I’m 7 days into my trial. The older versions of OO where part of my daily workflow, so I do know the app fairly well. I’m finding a number of buggy issues. I’ve already mentioned pasting without style is hit or miss, mostly miss. If I change a style background colour it also changes the text colour. When a document is the only open document on all my devices, a dialogue box comes up after a while that this doc has changed on another device, which is quite disconcerting because of you click the wrong button you lose what you’ve done since the save. These documents are stored in iCloud so is it thinking that document has changed when iCloud syncs even though nothing has changed? I’m also getting ui glitches. Sometimes when copying and pasting the rows have a highlight applied to them. This goes with a restart. I’ve also found that when applying a theme some text does not change to the theme colour even thought the correct colour is displayed in the colour picker.

Please don’t see this being a negative. I really like the app. I’m hoping these are release teething problems.

I’ve been trying to troubleshoot and realised that my iPhone and macOS were running 6.03 Testflight version. I have uninstalled this and am running the stock app versions, so I’ll see if this makes any difference.

Styles are a little weird, but probably justifiably so. It’s not like a word processor, where your text isn’t changing its status.

When you promote or demote topics, the style has to shift, and row styles override individual changes. At least in some contexts.

There is a beta that hasn’t been closed, and it’s a shame your post went three days without an answer. I hope OO6 doesn’t suffer OO5’s fate, going a decade or so without a major update. We need to keep OO on OmniGroup’s radar.

Customer support is great and OO is a stellar outliner. I hope OmniGroup realizes OO fills a critical need.
