A way to have dual verbose and abbreviated versions of the same outline

I use OmniOutliner for public speaking. Is there a way to switch between a more verbose outline and an abbreviated one? This is a technique to just refresh my memory of what I want to say without needing to read all the details.

The only way I’ve thought of is to add a column with an abbreviated form of each point, but I’m curious if there’s another way to do this. (I know I could create a second outline, but I’m trying to avoid this.)

You can hide the notes. The title could be a synopsis and the notes could be the longer version.

Would that work?

That’s a good idea, thanks! I’m using the notes for something else currently but I might be able to switch it to that.
