Adding a new task to multiple projects at once

Hello - I maintain a project for my clients and the projects are never completed as I will add new things to each client from time to time. I have identified something I need to complete for each of my clients so I need to create the same task for multiple projects. Is there a way to do this so I don’t have to copy a task for each project one by one?

You could write a plug-in to do that, but it’s probably easiest to add the task to one project, Copy it, then switch to each of your other projects and Paste it. (That’s certainly what I do!)

A slightly different method I use frequently is to duplicate the task in the inbox or in the first project, change the project name in the outline, & then clean up. It does the same thing at the other suggested method but with a few fewer steps.
