Is there a way to set alarm notifications for specific task, equivalent to Apple Reminders “urgent” tasks? This was recently introduced in iOS 26.2 and it is a wonderful little improvement. I was wondering if Omnifocus already has something like this.
Note: I’m aware of Omnifocus sound notification, however, combination with alarm is better, at least for super critical tasks.
I’m not aware of a functionality for this in OF.
I put these sort of tasks in Due. Anything which Due flags has a real consequence for me if it’s not done.

I have never used Due, will check it out. I discovered this functionality in the latest version of Apple Reminders and thought it would be a neat feature in Omnifocus. Saying that, I suspect it may not be something many people would want/need so unlikely it will be implemented.

Need to take medication? Make it remind me daily at 10am and then every 5 minutes until I mark it completed
Need to put the bins out for emptying on a Monday evening? From 6pm on Monday, remind me every hour.
