Alerts on Watch

If an alert on the Watch is “snoozed”, and then on the phone the action is rescheduled to another date, the Watch doesn’t catch up with the iPhone and keeps alerting that action. For example, say I have an action due at 10:00 and the Watch alerts me – and I “snooze” the alert. Then I open the iPhone and change the action to be due tomorrow. The Watch alert will continue to pop up after the snooze period is over. It seems the only want to fix this is to reboot the Watch.

Thank you for the report, and apologies for the trouble!

Notifications are handled by OmniFocus 2 on the iOS device itself, and I’ve reproduced that behavior even without an Apple Watch in the mix. A bug has been filed for the team to look at; we’ll see what we can do!

If you dismiss the Snoozed item, does it go away for good, or does it keep coming back?

Don’t know. I’ll try this the next time this case occurs.

That takes care of the issue on the iPhone; just wondering if we’re running into a different case on the Apple Watch. I’ll have to do some testing later!
