Can I append to a task’s note with a Siri shortcut?
I do not think that’s currently possible. Also, how would you reference a specific task? By Name ? What do you expect to happen if two tasks share the same name ?
I don’t have tasks that are the same name. But when appending to notes in Bear or Evernote, I think I you can reference a more ID or name. I’d have to check to be sure. I have used that function in a while.
Got it. If you have a task ID, you can create a Shortcut that triggers an Omni Automation script to update note property.
I do not think it’s currently possible to modify a pre-existent task with the OmniFocus actions available in Shortcuts.
