I’m not a very good applescripter, but I am working on a script and I need to know how to change the name of an existing task. Is this possible? If so, can someone give me an example of the code?
Basically I’m sync’ing two systems. Omnifocus with my corporate project tool. I’ll originate a task in OF. When my script runs, if the task doesn’t start with the task ID from my corporate system, then I’ll create the OF task in my corporate system. Once I’ve done that, the corporate system will create a task ID number. I want to then modify the original OF task to include the corporate task ID. That way, when it checks again, it will see that the ID’s match and not re-create the task.
Any help is appreciated.
