Automatic File Creation


I have a rather noob question. I am new to OmniFocus and I loving it so far. But I was wondering if there was a way to create a .txt file from within the app and have it attached to a specific task.

I like to take a lot of notes and it would be super, if there was a way to create a notes files based on the name of the task. I am sure this is possible, but I just don’t know programming well enough to do it myself.

I would be very grateful if someone could help me out.

Is there a reason you’re looking to do this rather than just adding your notes to the Notes Field?

Yes, I want to create Notes in Markdown that I can share with colleagues or customers.

Unless the sharing is immediate I would use the notes field to edit these notes and then find a way to share when you need to.

Otherwise the file will get out of sync.
