Banner Badge Count Across Devices

Can someone please explain why the banner badge count on my Mac and Apple watch match, but my iPhone and iPad have a different count?

I thought the watch gets its information from the phone. As tasks are entered and completed, the watch and the Mac match, but the phone and iPad show a different count.

Hi jaystoeg,

Could it be that the Omnifocus Badge settings are set up differently on the different devices?
