I recently got a MacBook Air 2015 model, and running into this graphical error where the sidebar turns black.
Is there a solution to prevent this ?

Hey, did you find a solution to this? I have the same issue - have had it for months.
I’ve been told by OmniGroup support that this is a known issue and that they are working on a solution: although there was no solution in hand at the time I contacted them. I think I contacted them about 6 weeks ago. I hope they are closer to a solution now, but an email directly to support would help clear this up.
