Brainstorming or adding multiple actions to a project

I noticed a difference between OF3 on an iPad vs an iPhone when adding several actions to a project in a short period of time. Let‘s take an example: I want to make a list of all things I‘d like to take on my vacation. Let‘s create a new Project „Things for vacation“ and give it a tag.

On the iPhone the approach then is fairly simple: Navigate to the project, press the round + icon at the bottom, enter the first action, press safe+, enter the next action, etc. It‘s intuitive and fast. The only thing I miss, is a keyboard.

On the iPad it‘s a hassle: Navigate to the project, press the round + icon at the bottom - the inspector slides in, enter the first action, tap the round + icon at the bottom - the inspector slides out, tap the round + icon at the bottom again - the inspector slides in, enter the next action, tap the round + icon at the bottom, the inspector slides out,… On the iPad there is no safe+ icon!

I assumed brainstorming and entering actions to my projects would be easier on the iPad (with a keyboard). Am I missing something? I found OF2 much more intuitive here.

I just type and press CMD+N which creates a new action. Similarly tapping the + in the circle doesn’t remove what’s in the current inspector.

That‘s odd. So when you tap the + icon the inspector doesn‘t hide and you get an immediate new action?
Here CMD-N only works if the inspector is not open. CMD-N opens the inspector with a new unnamed action. I can immediately start typing, naming my first action, but when I‘m done another CMD-N does nothing.

I have the inspector open as a sidebar and pinned open.

Ah! That indeed makes a difference!
Thanks for the hint and your fast responses. I like having more space in the action list but I will stick with a pinned inspector for now.
Hopefully the developers pick that topic up. It seems odd to me that OF behaves so differently due to a pinned inspector.
