Clippings shortcut not working

Hi,

I’m using the latest version of OmniFocus with the last version of Yosemite. I have installed the latest Clip-o-tron release. Everytime I try to right-click and use clippings in Safari or Mail I get the following errors that appear in Console and no quick entry window appearing:

7/20/15 7:54:28.680 AM SandboxedServiceRunner[594]: assertion failed: 14E46: libxpc.dylib + 33377 [80D68997-17B9-32B6-A5FA-A218216415E5]: 0x13
7/20/15 7:50:55.607 AM Safari[249]: assertion failed: 14E46: libxpc.dylib + 33377 [80D68997-17B9-32B6-A5FA-A218216415E5]: 0x13

I have tried to uninstall and reinstall and disable the keyboard shortcut and re-enable and nothing I do makes this work. Any help would be great thanks!

If you could please send us an email to omnifocus@omnigroup.com (if you haven’t already), we’d be happy to investigate this further with you! The forums are a great place for community discussion, but if you’re having a problem with our software, the best way for us to provide technical assistance would be over email.

Thank you!

I just upgraded from v2.2.1 to v2.2.3 and am getting the same error. Was this ever resolved?

Thanks,
Dave

@dhudakosc I don’t believe we’ve received widespread reports of this error - could you shoot us an email so that we can troubleshoot with you? omnifocus@omnigroup.com

Thanks! I already opened a bug report. I was able to resolve it with help from Omni support. The culprit was that I did a reinstall of 2.2.3, rather than an upgrade, overwriting the old version. That left the clip-o-tron pointing to the now-deleted version of OmniFocus 2.2.1. I uninstalled clip-o-tron, rebooted, reset the shortcut in the Keyboard control panel and reinstalled clip-o-torn. After restarting mail, it worked!
