This was previously raised multiple times as a problem but each time the topic was closed before a solution was offered.
My issue: I mark recurring tasks as complete in a particular month but they continue to show as overdue. Why?

Do you have a due date set on the project itself? If so, the project due date will be inherited by the actions in the project (if the whole project is due by a certain date, all the tasks make up that project must be completed by that date). Remove the due date on the project and each of the task due dates will then show their status with respect to their own date and not the inherited date. In the case you have, the project should not have a due due date as it is an ongoing container for the payment tasks.
