Is there a way to continue numbering without a restart numbering even when interrupted by a higher level? I want, for example, all my level 3 entries to keep going regardless of level 2. I can’t find it and assumed this would be a core functionality of an outline program?

I don’t think that this is possible but I’d recommend asking Omni’s support by email. They could answer definitively.
Can one even restart numbering? I’ve been trying to find that for years!
